Fab teacher Julia White leads beginner-novice players (grades 0-3) in this hour-long workshop of tips, tricks and games. Have you ever started playing a beautiful tune, and instead get squeaks, squawks, or perhaps even no sound at all? Perhaps it's your reed, or could the problem be your lip shape, your fingers or your blowing? In this workshop, become an oboe detective and find out how to discover fixes for squeaks, squawks and silence so that your tune sounds beautiful every time! Also including: fast note relay; pass the tune; long note challenge and zoom chords.
