There will be four schedules in operation on the BIG Double Reed Day 2017.
Children aged 10 and under who have not yet done their grade 3 will be on the Junior Timetable. Registration is at 10am and a programme of specially devised activities will commence at 10.30am. This will include all students playing on junior oboes, mini-bassoons, tenoroons and fagonellos.
Students aged 11 - 18, or younger but grade 3 and above in standard will be on the Main Timetable, shown below.
Adults will be on the Adult Timetable, with the same timings as the main timetable, but with four hour-long workshops, two of which will be performance classes.
The Massed Ensemble Performances will be divided into two different age groups, with participants aged 13 and under performing in the first concert at 5.15pm, and everyone else performing in the second concert at 6pm. Tickets for these concerts are free and will be available to pick up at registration.
